Let's Get Started

You’re welcome here. We know visiting a new place can raise a lot of questions, and it can be stressful at times. We are here to serve you and want you to feel welcome and at home when you join us. Here are five steps for your first visit to St. John Lutheran. We look forward to getting to meeting you!

Step 1
Step 1

Choose a Service to Attend

Saturday | 4:30 PM

Sunday | 8:00 & 10:30 AM
*LIVE Online at 8:00 AM

Monday | 6:30 PM

A typical service lasts about 75 minutes long. Our services make use of hymns, choral and instrumental music, and today’s modern worship music. Each service offers preaching, drawn from Scripture, that speaks to everyday life and is centered on Jesus, His redeeming work for us, and the life as a disciple.

Know What To Expect

As you enter our campus, you will receive a Bulletin that contains the outline of the worship service that you can reference throughout the service. The Bulletin also includes our weekly “News & Notes” sharing updates, life stories, and upcoming events at St. John.

Feel free to sit wherever you feel most comfortable. We welcome you to read, sing along, and participate during the worship service.

After the service has ended, we invite you to introduce yourself to people, especially to our Pastors. Don’t miss the coffee, snacks, and treats available every Sunday morning (before and after services).

Step 4
Step 4

Kids & Family

Your children are very important and are always welcome in worship. We love when the whole family worships together. Your children (of all ages) are encouraged to worship with the whole family of God at St. John – we learn together, we sing together, we pray together, and we receive the gifts of Jesus together.

If needed, the Fellowship Hall (located next to the Sanctuary) is available for walking and comforting restless little ones. Here, you can listen and watch the service while your child needs to run, calm down, and be redirected. Return to the Sanctuary for the rest of the service when able.

Step 5
Step 5

Continue the Conversation

Located in the Fellowship Hall you will find the Welcome Desk as well as the display shelves by the fireplace. This is a great place to pick up information and to inquire about connection opportunities.

We believe it is important for adults and children to gather in small groups for learning and growing in our Christian faith. Every Sunday, from 9:30-10:15 AM, we offer Christian education classes. Through children and adult appropriate topics and activities, we learn together as the family of St. John. We call this special time of growing in our faith “Learning for All”.
