We value children and families, connecting kids, and partnering with parents so they can be the primary teachers of the faith to their kids. We make it a priority to ensure kids and students don’t just have a fun time at church – but that they find Jesus and community that goes beyond Sundays. Check out all the different ways we get to share Jesus’ love for children.




Sunday studY

From 9:30-10:15 AM every Sunday (during the school year), enthusiastic leaders lead our students as they dig into God’s Word through activities, video, discussions, and music. These special classes provide opportunities to hear Bible stories, sing songs, make new friends, and learn of their Savior, Jesus Christ, in an age appropriate setting. Our mission is to help your child learn to love the God who created and saved them in Jesus. And we want to make lifelong memories and friendships along the way. For kids 4th grade and younger, we ask parents (or older siblings) to drop off and pickup at the room. If it's your first visit, give yourself a couple of extra minutes to visit the Family Life & Youth Office (located in the Main School Hallway) to fill out a quick form with your child's info and how to contact you.

youth group

SJL Youth Group is a place for students to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and have fun together! Youth Group is divided into two groups: Middle School (6th–8th grade) and High School (9th–12th grade). Students from public schools, private schools, and homeschools are all welcome to be part of the Youth Group community! Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming place where youth can learn about their faith, discover how to live it out, and grow in confidence as they share it with others. Most importantly, Youth Group is a place to have fun, build friendships, and spend time with others who share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior. Katrina Johns: [email protected]

We provide a time of instruction for middle school students (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), so that in the spring of their 8th grade year, they’re prepared to confirm (that is, say again) what God said about them at their baptisms – that they’re members of His family!

St. John Lutheran School Instruction:
For students attending St. John Lutheran School.
Classes occur each day.

Midweek Instruction:
For students attending a Public School or Home School.
Classes occur during the school year on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30 PM.

Special Needs

From 9:30-10:15 AM every Sunday (during the school year), we serve a wide range of ages and abilities with a gentle and fun-loving atmosphere that includes worship, Bible stories, music, crafts, and snacks. We want everyone to feel included, loved, valued and supported as we receive God’s love and forgiveness.

Special Needs Vacation Bible School:
Every June, for an entire week, we connect individuals with special needs and their families to Jesus. Join us for a special week of Bible stories, creating crafts, and singing. Please contact the church office to learn more!
