Planning Center
Planning Center helps to organize our serving at St. John Lutheran. Schedule your dates of service, receive reminders before the event, and serve with confidence. After being added to a Serve Team, you’ll receive an email invitation to Planning Center from the Church Office.
Weekly Serve Teams include: Acolytes, Usher Teams, Elder Teams, Choirs, and Camera/Media Operators.
Go to your app store, and search for “Planning Center Services.” Once downloaded, you can log in with your regular username (email) and password.

Set Up Your Account
Receive an email invitation from Planning Center Verify your email and set a password. Your default username is your email address.
Options in Planning Center
- My Schedule – see when you’ve been assigned
- Blockout Dates – let us know ahead of time when you won’t be available to volunteer
- Plans – depending on your ministry role, you may be able to sign up for open positions
- User Settings – if you click the profile icon in the top-right corner, you will be able to adjust your profile (e.g. contact info, passwords) AND set schedule preferences (e.g. “I would like to serve up to twice monthly”)
